The Borough of Broxbourne covers 20 square miles in south
east Hertfordshire and has a population of about 89,000.
Broxbourne's towns of Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Broxbourne and
Hoddesdon lie along the Lee Valley's main roads and railways.

The Core Strategy published
Broxbourne Council is consulting on a draft
‘masterplan’ which will guide development in the Borough to 2031.
The Core Strategy is part of the Local Development Framework (LDF).
It is the first of a set of new plans which will replace the
Council’s planning policies in the existing Local Plan which was
adopted in 2005.
